Message As far as I can tell, ARC "spec" just means the core is the same dimensions as ARC intercoolers. The core design is NOTHING like ARCs (which is hugely superior), so I'm not sure it's worth it over the regular AVS intercoolers. It doesn't look like Coz has them listed anymore, but he probably still has them in stock.

That said, I have the regular AVS intercoolers and I do like them. I feel like they're a pretty significant upgrade over stock, even if they're not as nice as Ashspec Massives or even Stillens. They're basically identical to Z1's.

I didn't notice much of a butt-dyno difference at first, but I will say that it gives a noticable improvement to cold weather boosting.

By the way, if you can swing the extra $50, I highly recommend the silicone piping kit. My stock hoses were really dry and brittle, so replacing them with silicone made installation much easier. Plus I love T-bolt clamps.
